“Who do we call? What services are available? What will insurance cover? How do we afford what it doesn’t?”

They were overwhelmed, and often what they needed most was a moment of connection with someone who understood they weight they were carrying and could meet them without judgment.

It was hard to watch families leave knowing how much they still had to figure out on their own. A diagnosis was only one piece of the puzzle. There was still the cost of evaluations and services, copays and deductibles, and the everyday needs that rarely make it onto a treatment plan.

What comes next when a family knows what their child needs, but accessing it feels out of reach? What comes next when they don’t know what they need or what is available or who to go to?

Jessica saw that gap over and over again.
